Sorbitol liquid is a clear, viscous, water-soluble sugar alcohol derived from starch, commonly used as a 70% solution, that acts as a humectant, sweetener, and laxative. It provides 60% of the sweetness of sugar with fewer calories. It is widely used in food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals to retain moisture and improve texture.

Most high-quality 70% sorbitol solutions are “dual-purpose” and meet both food (FCC) and pharmaceutical/cosmetic (USP) standards simultaneously.

Mixing Method
