Olivem 1000 MB

Olivem® 1000 MB is a natural, PEG-free, non-ionic O/W (oil-in-water) emulsifier derived from olive oil fatty acids. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved, and the “MB” indicates Mass Balance compliance with RSPO standards for sustainable sourcing. Olivem 1000 MB is valued for its ability to form lamellar liquid crystal structures that mimic the skin’s natural lipid barrier, promoting long-lasting hydration and improved skin barrier function. It’s ideal for clean beauty, sensitive skin, and minimalist formulations.

Recommended Usage Rate: 2–5%
pH Range: 4.0–8.0
Melting Point: ~65–75°C
Formulation Tip: Add to the oil phase and heat both water and oil phases to ~75°C. Emulsify using high shear and allow to cool with gentle stirring for a stable emulsion.

Applications:

Moisturizing creams, lotions, serums, baby products, barrier repair creams, sensitive skin products, and natural face moisturizers.
