Description
Montanov™ 68 MB is a natural, non-ionic O/W (oil-in-water) emulsifier derived from renewable plant sources. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved, and widely used in natural and organic cosmetic formulations. Known for its mildness, stability, and ability to create light yet rich textures, Montanov 68 MB is ideal for creams and lotions with a silky, non-greasy finish. The “MB” indicates Mass Balance, meaning it’s sustainably sourced in line with RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification.

Appearance: White to off-white waxy flakes or pellets
Solubility: Dispersible in water; oil-phase soluble
Recommended Usage Rate: 1–5%
pH Range: 4.0–8.0
Melting Point: 65–75°C
Formulation Tip: Add to the oil phase and heat both phases to 70–75°C. Combine and emulsify using high shear, then cool while mixing gently.
Applications:
Facial creams, body lotions, baby products, after-sun care, moisturizers, and sensitive skin formulations.
Precautions:
For external use only. Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Use within recommended limits.
