Description
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, also called VC-IP, is a highly stable, oil-soluble vitamin C derivative. It’s the tetraester of L-Ascorbic Acid and Isopalmitic Acid. After penetrating the skin’s lipid layers, enzymes convert it to free vitamin C, giving all the core functions of vitamin C without the oxidation, irritation, or pH limits of L-ascorbic acid.
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (VC-IP) is alsoknown as a premium oil-soluble Vitamin C derivative known for its exceptional stability and skin penetration. Unlike pure Vitamin C, it remains stable in cosmetic formulations while delivering powerful brightening, antioxidant, and anti-aging benefits. It helps improve skin radiance, support collagen production, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and promote a more even skin tone. Suitable for use in serums, creams, lotions, facial oils, and other advanced skincare formulations.
FEATURES:
– Powerful antioxidant: Neutralizes free radicals, reduces UV-induced oxidative damage and lipid peroxidation
– Brightens & evens tone: Inhibits tyrosinase, blocks melanin production, fades spots and post-acne marks
– Collagen boosting: Stimulates type I & III collagen synthesis, improves firmness and elasticity
– Photoprotective: Suppresses UVB-induced pigmentation and cell/DNA damage
– Anti-inflammatory & anti-acne: Reduces inflammation, prevents sebum oxidation and blackhead formation
– Gentle: Better tolerated than L-ascorbic acid, suitable for sensitive skin
