Description
Sodium Lactate 60%
Description
Sodium Lactate 60% is the sodium salt of lactic acid, naturally derived from the fermentation of sugars such as corn or beets. It is supplied as a clear liquid at a 60% concentration. Known as a multifunctional ingredient, Sodium Lactate is primarily used as a powerful humectant, pH regulator, and buffering agent in personal care, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical formulations.
Due to its excellent water-binding capacity, it helps maintain skin hydration, enhances product performance, and improves the sensory profile of lotions, creams, serums, soaps, and haircare products. In soap-making, it is valued for producing harder bars with smoother textures.
