Description
Retinol Acetate, also known as Retinyl Acetate, is an ester form of vitamin A. It is more stable than pure retinol and converts slowly to retinol in the skin, making it gentler and better tolerated. Vitamin A in Retinyl Acetate form is widely used in cosmetics. This is due to the Anti-oxidant and Anti-aging efficacy of vitamin A and the stability that is the hallmark of retinyl acetate. Retinol Acetate has the strength of being more stable than other types of Vitamin A.
Retinol (Vitamin A acetate or retinol acetate) is a natural form of vitamin A which is the acetate ester of retinol, the group of fat soluble vitamins common in carrots, eggs and sweet potatoes.
