Rich in essential fatty acids, Pomegranate Oil has high emollient properties that make it an effective moisturizer that may help to prevent environmental damage to the skin, and prevent skin conditions caused by dry skin. Its antioxidant properties have been reputed to reduce the signs of aging by protecting the suppleness of the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Pomegranate seed oil is an extremely rich and nutritious oil. It contains high levels of antioxidants that fight free radicals and skin ageing, but the oil is also a potent source of punicic and ellagic acids. Because of these properties, pomegranate seed oil is used to heal, protect, and moisturise dry, cracked, mature, and irritated skin, bring elasticity back to the skin, and for eczema and other skin problems.

Common uses:
Pomegranate seed oil is commonly used in cosmetic products to revitalise dull or mature skin, assist with wrinkles, and to soothe minor skin irritations. It adds moisture, has natural estrogenic properties, antioxidants, is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, improves skin elasticity, and protects the skin.

It provides relief from minor skin irritations and inflammation, including dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and sunburned skin. The conjugated fatty acids give it strong anti-inflammatory properties, which help to reduce swelling and ease muscular aches and pains.

Several recent studies have shown that pomegranate seed oil stimulates keratinocyte proliferation, promoting regeneration and strengthening of the epidermis.

It is suitable for all hair types and is used to revitalize both dry and dull hair. Pomegranate seed oil is also used to stimulate blood circulation of the scalp as the antioxidant comprises of high vitamin content in it that helps in increasing the growth of hair.

Pomegranate seed oil is the best source of vitamin C and serves as an effective hair tonic when it is mixed with coconut oil, vitamin E oil, almond oil and castor oil. Hair follicles are strengthened by using pomegranate seed oil.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
