Papaya seed oil is full of enzymes and phytosterols which are said to give it anti-inflammatory, moisturising and skin soothing properties. One of these enzymes is papain, which can be useful as a natural exfoliant as it helps to lift dead skin cells and excess oil, naturally rejuvenating skin. Papaya seed oil is very high in Oleic acid, omega-9 fatty acid, which has a rich skin feel and is often used as a cleansing agent and skin texture enhancer.
