Description: Named after the Persian word ‘Yasmin’ meaning the ‘Gift of God’, Jasmine are summer flowers that are held sacred in India and the mountains of the Himalayas. With a strong scent that imparts a pleasant and intoxicating smell especially during the evening and waning moon, the flowers grow as a bright deciduous shrub that grows up to 10 to 15 feet tall.
