Description
A skin-brightening, spot fading active ingredient that goes by the trade name Radianskin. The in-vitro (made in the lab) test results of the manufacturer show that it can prevent melanin formation more effectively than other well-known skin-lightening agents.
Radianskin™ is the latest spot removal active. Radianskin™ safely prevents melanogenesis in vitro better than ascorbyl glucoside, kojic acid, and arbutin and has equivalent efficacy to hydroquinone without cytotoxicity. It inhibits melanin transfer with great efficacy and prevents UVB damage. Radianskin™ is clinically proven to visibly reduce dark spots within two weeks. It is a water-soluble powder.
“It has two similar modes of disruption in hyperpigmentation of the skin. First, it decreases melanin production, and second, it interferes with pigment transfer from the melanocyte to skin cell (keratinocyte),” she explains. “It is special in that it is a non-toxic derivative of hydroquinone, the gold-standard topical brightening agent
