Description
What is Flaxseed Oil?
Flaxseed oil, also known as linseed oil (edible grade), is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). It has a mild, nutty taste and is one of the richest plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, especially alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Unlike industrial linseed oil, food-grade flaxseed oil is carefully processed to make it safe and nutritious for human consumption.
