Tall evergreen tress with long and narrow leaves and small white/yellow flowers. Eucalyptus is one of the most well known of essential oils. Despite the uplifting and fresh scent, Eucalyptus is highly relaxing and calming as an oil.

Eucalyptus has many applications, from purifying skin by removing dirt, to warming, toning, and refreshing skin, to promoting a sense of well-being. Not only can Eucalyptus Oil be applied topically, it can also be diffused to reap its benefits through scent. When diffused, Eucalyptus energizes and creates an uplifting atmosphere. Traditionally, some varieties of Eucalyptus have even been used in mosquito repellent sprays, while others continue to be used to relax with massages and provide soothing feeling.

Skin: Many creams and ointments made for wound care contain Eucalyptus as a key ingredient as it is associated with wound care. Eucalyptus essential oil is fantastic on skin ailments (burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and skin infections).
