Description
Ceramide Complex  is a skin-identical active ingredient blend designed to restore and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. It contains a synergistic mix of ceramides, cholesterol, and phytosphingosine in a lamellar, biomimetic delivery system that closely mimics the composition of the skin’s lipid barrier.

This pre-dispersed complex is standardized at 2.5% active content for ease of formulation and can be incorporated directly into the water phase or emulsions. It helps reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), enhances hydration, and supports smoother, firmer, and more resilient skin.

It is widely used in high-performance skincare such as serums, moisturizers, anti-aging creams, body care, and scalp treatments.

Mixing Method

• Add Ceramide Complex 2.5% to the cool-down phase of emulsions (< 40°C).
• Can also be incorporated directly into water-based systems with gentle stirring.
• Avoid high shear mixing to preserve lamellar structure.

✔ Preservation: Pre-preserved blend, but finished formulations should include an adequate preservation system.
