Description: Clove is derived from a slender evergreen tree that grows up to 12m.

Colour: light brown

Common uses: Beneficial for skin irritations.

Blends well with: rose, lavender, clary sage, bergamot, bay, ylang ylang, other spice oils, citrus oils.

Aromatic scent: Has the characteristic clove scent, much sharper and more woody than clove bud.

History: The word clove comes from the Latin word ‘clavus’, meaning nail, since the shaft and head of a clove resemble a nail. Cloves and nutmeg were among the most precious of items in Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries and were worth more than their weight in gold.

Safety data: Dilute essential oils befor use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals, a skin test is recommending prior to use, contact with eyes should be avoided.

Storage: it is recommended that oils package in in metal containers (for safe shipping) or dark glass/amber containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum .
