Our organically crafted Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil is steam distilled from the striking, rich wood of impressive Cedrus atlantica trees growing wild in the handsome, mossy forests of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. With its beautiful warm, woody, earthy and slightly resinous aroma, Atlas Cedarwood Oil has a wide range of applications both in aromatherapy as well as natural perfumery.
Renowned for denoting strength and peaceful dominion, Atlas Cedarwood is known as a gentle giant, as it is both soft and powerful and has a wide variety of applications. These trees are native to the lands of Morocco and planted across Africa and the Middle East for centuries; and can grow more than 140 feet in height and produce bluish-green leaves and cones.

As with the other conifer oils, Cedarwood Atlas Oil is an exquisite choice when looking to support healthy lungs and promote clear breathing. In natural perfumery, it is widely used in masculine colognes but is just as lovely in aromatic blends for women. When applied topically, Cedarwood Atlas Oil has clarifying properties. It can assist in the revitalization of dull, congested skin by encouraging healthy microbial balance.

History: The ancient Egyptians prized the oil, mostly for embalming purposes, but also for cosmetics and perfumery, and Solomon’s Temple was built with Cedar Wood. Today, closet liners and accessories are frequently crafted from Cedar, and the oil is currently used in commercial soaps, cosmetics and perfumes, especially men’s colognes.
Safety data: Dilute essential oils befor use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals, a skin test is recommending prior to use, contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: it is recommended that oils package in in metal containers (for safe shipping) or dark glass/amber containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum .
