Description

Cat-Ionic Guar Gum is a cationically modified natural polysaccharide derived from guar beans. The cationic modification provides a positive charge, allowing it to bind effectively to negatively charged hair fibers and damaged skin proteins. This results in excellent conditioning, detangling, and smoothness in hair care products. The ingredient enhances combability, reduces static electricity, and provides mild thickening, making it ideal for shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in treatments.

Cationic Guar Gum is a high charge, high molecular weight quaternary polymer that provides the dual benefits of conditioning and thickening. It is substantive on anionic surfaces such as hair and skin and is compatible with most anionic surfactants. It imparts a soft and luxurious after-feel to the skin. It develops foam with better stability, lather and skin lubricating properties.
