Shea Nut Oil, also known as Shea Olein, is a light, golden oil extracted from the nuts of the Vitellaria paradoxa tree. It is the liquid fraction of Shea Butter, making it lighter and faster-absorbing, while still rich in vitamins A, E, and F, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants.

Shea Nut Oil is ideal for formulators who want the rich benefits of Shea Butter in a lighter, fast-absorbing oil form.

Usage Rates for Shea Nut Oil (Cosmetic Formulation)
• Creams & Lotions: 2% – 10%
• Body Butters & Balms: 5% – 20%
• Massage Oils: 10% – 30% (can also be used pure)
• Hair Conditioners & Masks: 2% – 8%
• Shampoos & Leave-in Sprays: 1% – 5%
• Lip Balms & Lip Care: 3% – 10%
• Soaps: 3% – 10% of total oils/fats

At lower percentages, it works as a skin softener and conditioner.
At higher percentages, it acts as a rich emollient and protective oil.

Packaging: Stored in UV-protective, airtight bottles for freshness and stability

Shelf Life: 18–24 months (store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight).

Note: For external use only. Store in a cool, dry place. Shake well before use. May stain fabrics due to natural color.
